"Georgian Vine"

On July 4–6, 2025, the wine festival "Georgian Vine" was held in the city of Riga. The organizers of the festival were the Honorary Consul of Latvia in Georgia (Kakheti region), Mikheil Khundadze, and the Georgian restaurant operating in Riga, "Alaverdi-Locale".

On July 4, during the opening of the festival, the audience was greeted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Latvia, Irakli Kurashvili. Speeches were also delivered by the Chairwoman of the Latvia–Georgia Friendship Group in the Latvian Parliament, Aiva Vīksna, and the Honorary Consul of Latvia, Mikheil Khundadze.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Latvia, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia.
